Ashley Smith and Greg Bouzianis orginally had another destination in mind for their island nuptials, but fate had other plans. Little did this couple know that starting their destination search from scratch would lead to a life-altering move.

Visiting The Virgin Islands is truly a delightful experience. Island hopping is always exciting and made easy as there are numerous water taxis, ferries, flights and even sea planes that travel from island to island daily.

For a wedding in USVI:

Fill out the application for marriage license and certificate of marriage forms (the forms can be downloaded at www.usvitourism.vi). The form must be notarized and there is an 8 day waiting period before a license will be issued. When mailing the form, include a letter detailing the dates of your visit, the date you plan to pick up your license and if you have been previously married, a certified copy of your divorce decree.
